Methodology

Every number on this site comes from a published benchmark. Each figure is shown with a link to its source and the period it covers, so you can check it yourself.

Nothing is estimated, modeled or filled in. If no published data exists for a trade or channel, we leave it blank and say so. Most sources are agencies or software vendors reporting on their own client data. Their samples, regions and time frames differ, so we show each source on its own and do not blend them into one average.

Contractors can submit what they pay. Every submission is moderated. We only publish submitted data as an aggregate, and only once at least five submissions cover the same trade and channel. Individual submissions are never shown.
